Hydraulic Jacks

Hydraulic Jacks are known to be the best type of floor jacks. They can easily lift heavy loads. The jack contains cylinder mechanism divided across four wheels. It also comes with a detachable lever which pumps fluid from one cylinder to another that creates pressure and lifts the car. It also comes with four wheels that allows you to position it anywhere. They can easily lift heavy vehicles like trucks, RV’s, etc.

The only reason there are not used widely is because of their huge weight. They are not portable and only suitable to place in a garage.

Bottle Jacks

Bottle Jacks are also called Piston Jacks. They bear some similarities to Hydraulic Jacks like they also comes with a hydraulic mechanism. Additionally, scissor jacks are very famous among different car manufacturers and offer them for free when you purchase their car. Scissor jacks are perfect for small tasks like changing a vehicle’s tire but when it comes to complex tasks, they fail because of their small height.
